WGC would like to thank all of our supporters, old friends and new friends, over the past 2 years. None of us had ever imagined in our wildest dreams that our initial camp during the winter of 2008 in Valencia, CA would have helped us identify a strong need in the BJJ community for more accessibility and comradaerie amongst female practitioners.

Since 2008 we’ve held 4 week long BJJ camps in the USA and Canada. In addition to our popular week long camps, we also had our very first mini camp earlier this year in Richmond, VA. We’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with approximately 150 talented ladies from all over North America, and have seen the landscape of our community change and grow as we have all come together.

Due to the strong response we’ve gathered from our camps, WGC decided to reinforce and redirect our energies into creating a strategic outreach plan which will be able to service and target burgeoning BJJ communities around North America.

WGC will now be traveling more frequently to different cities for 2-3 day mini camps. Your school or any school that is interested in hosting a camp can now contact us to schedule something closer to you! Here is a list of some states we’re planning to visit in 2011:

Indiana

California (Northern)

Minnesota

Texas

New York

We will continue to have our week-long Grappling Camp, but our aim to is to make it bigger and better so that everyone from our past camps can try to make it for one big event every year, because we know how much you love each other!

We’re also working on introducing additional products and merchandise to better your camp experience and improve the quality of your training. Every time we’re able to come together we witness how much we’ve all grown as a result of this process and we’d like to give more attention to beginner and advanced students, leaders, teachers, executives (35+), competitors and more.

We’re very excited about what we’re working on introducing for the next year and we hope you are too! WGC is always open to hearing your comments and suggestions. Being connected to you is of utmost importance to us.

Thank you for being a part of our journey so far, we will continue to work hard to enrich your training experience as you explore the sports of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling!
