So you came. You saw. You kicked their ass. Now what?

How about a fun evening of belly dancing? Drumming? Martial arts rope dart spinning? Hell yeah!

Grapple Girl Sheng, aka belly dancer Layla Hassam, will be putting on a post-tournament show on the evening of Saturday Aug 22, from 8-9 pm at Hannan’s Bellydance Studio (211 Danforth, between Broadview and Chester).

Come and see some wriggling bodies and shake your moneymaker! All for a good cause! Ooh la la!

Everyone — girls, boys, competitors, spectators, people off the street — is welcome! We’ll post more details as we confirm.

We’re going to open weigh-ins a little early on Friday the 21st. If you want to come to MECCA MMA at 610 Queen St West, 2nd floor, we will start weigh-ins by 5pm. Soooo, that means weigh-ins from 5-9pm. And if we get all excited, we might even start them a little earlier!

We run a free women’s class every Friday at MECCA from 6-7:30pm. You’re welcome to stick around and join us tomorrow!
